nancy anisfield

After two decades as a full-time outdoor writer and photographer with hundreds of published credits, Nancy has circled back to her first career as a commercial illustrator. Originally trained at the Art Institute of Boston working with brush and pen, she now creates imaginative digital art drawn from images in her extensive library of outdoor sporting photographs. Along with several gallery shows, her work appears in a range of wingshooting and hunting dog media.

Passionate about bird hunting and gun dogs, Nancy is still a free-lance writer/photographer, and is also co-owner of the Track2Wing Project. She lives in Vermont with her husband, Terry Wilson, where their lives are enthusiastically governed by her German Shorthaired Pointer, her Bracco Italiano, and his two German Wirehaired Pointers.
